Mayan Horoscope 1.0

The Mayan civilization is one of the oldest. They had different calendars, of which two or three are used nowadays. How the Mayan calendar is related to our Gregorian calendar is disputed. They have 13 gods of the upper world and 9 gods of the lower world. The gods of the lower world are related to all the earthly and spiritual transactions – for healing, divination, trade, war, love etc. Each day is represented by a sign that corresponds to a deity.

The program uses the Tzolk'in calendar. The year is known as "Chol Qij". We only have to enter the date of birth and click “Calculate my Mayan Horoscope”. The program gives three options for reading: the interpretation of the day of birth, the inscription and the 9 god glyphs. The two latter options would be hard to understand. You must read the descriptions of various signs, which is given in the program itself. The descriptions are very small. Each day falls in a sign and the person born on that day has certain characteristics. It tells us about the importance of the day too.

The program is freeware. Thus, we cannot hope to get many features. Also, there might be one or two advertisements popping up when you click on the main page. I liked reading the results. But I must say that they were too short and didn’t include daily results. Also, there isn’t any provision for checking compatibility with your lover.
